Beholding God's Glory

 ‭2 Corinthians 3:18 NIV‬

And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

A transformed life is a direct result of beholding the Lord's glory in the context of His love, along with the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

If we behold his glory without understanding our Holy God is love, we will be repelled. If we understand His great love without seeing His holiness, our love will be without context. It will be skewed.

My redeemer lives

 ‭Job 19:25 NIV‬

"I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth."

At the height of Job's anguish and distress, He cries out that his redeemer lives.

Nothing behind you is beyond God's power to redeem, and nothing ahead of you takes Him by surprise. 

As I think about all the loss (time, relationships, ministry & things) that I have experienced  these past 3 plus years, I am comforted by the thought that He is able to redeem them all. We see God's redemption of all that Job lost.
